VR-Drive:
VR-Drive is an interactive educational tool for young drivers. It utilizes a VR 3D model of Westport, Ireland that was built in Forum8’s UC-Win/Road software. The model can be run on a laptop and controlled with a Logitech gaming wheel and pedals to offer a portable drive-simulation solution to familiarize youth with driving techniques. VR-Drive runs users through a driving tour, a hazard course, and an ECO-drive challenge that demonstrates how aggressive gas/braking behaviors affect fuel consumption.
